21 Savage Confirms He Wasn't Dissing Kendrick

Yo, what up fam! It's ya boy Denzel AKA The Flyest Critic on The Planet, word. This morning the hip-hop scene got all shook up 'cause some Drake joints leaked, and at least one or maybe two sound like they could be diss tracks, or at least Drake's whiny baby attempts at 'em.

One of these tracks got 21 Crumpets AKA 21 Average AKA The Brother Who Makes J. Cole Look Gangsta, 21 Savage. On it, 21 dropped some bars that seemed like shots at Kendrick. For a sec, we thought 21 was reppin' his IQ and throwing shade at Kendrick. But thank Jah, lil homie got saved by his PR team.

Savage's PR team came out sayin' he wasn't talkin' about Kendrick Lamar at all, like 'round and hour ago. Whew! So we can stop trippin' unless you're a 21 Savage fan. The Internet's guessing the verse could be aimed at Gunna or maybe A$AP "I-stole-my-name-from-a-white-boy" Rocky. But for real, I don't even care. Beef between 21 Crumpets and any of those cats ain't even beef. That's some wannabe tough middle school kid vs. rich wannabe tough middle school kid. That ain't beef, that's lamb. They just tryna start lamb with each other.

There's still some confusion whether this track was made on 8/6/24 or 6/8/24. I'm thinking earlier 'cause Savage's PR team is prolly keeping him away from Drake. Since he already did some ad-lib heavy fake thug stuff for "Her Loss" and then got shouted out by Kendrick, it wouldn't be a good look.

I think Drake's verse is the real diss track and nobody's talkin' about it. Your boy's been scrolling through Reddit and Twitter, and ain't seen a single soul mention Drake's verse. At this point, Drake might as well not even be in the song. Not even fans of The Human Pillsbury Dough Man noticed this. They were hyped over the new mid music and missed the diss from Drake.

Anyway, that's it for now. I'll keep y'all updated on the latest celeb gossip and beef, AKA football for folks who don't vibe with sports. Peace and one love!

REVIEW - Curren$y and DJ Fresh: The Tonite Show; The Sequel

Yo, yo, yo, what’s crackin', fam? It’s ya boy Denzel comin' back at y’all with another drop. Hope all my peeps out here in the States had a lit Labor Day, kickin' it with the squad and fam, you know the vibes (written on 3rd Sept.) So I wasn’t even tryna peep this tape at first, wasn't even on my radar, but then I scoped the album art on Reddit and yo, that art goes hard, word! Straight jackin' the OG cover from Kool G Rap and DJ Polo’s Road to Riches. Now, last time someone bit a cover like this, it was that 21 Savage joint with the Illmatic swipe on American Dream, and word is bond y'all, that was straight rubbish. Had me tight tryna review that weak fake gangsta mess. So this joint better pull up or it’s curtains. Road to Riches? That's a certified 10/10, word. And yo, if you ain't bumped that Kool G classic yet, stop playin' and go cop that joint. Don’t even come at me talkin’ 'bout you gonna get that ish on streaming, it ain’...

REVIEW - Polo G: Hood Poet

Aight, check it. So this joint right here, I been waitin’ on it, feel me? I ain't really vibed with Polo G like that before, but to keep it real with y'all, I only heard one track from the dude. I'm tryna see if homie got that fire. This kid got potential, I really want him to blow up, word. Maybe it’s ‘cause he got a lil’ Craig G or Warren G in his name, I dunno, but I’m rootin’ for him to make it big. The album just dropped an hour ago, so let's see what it’s hittin’ for. God's Favourite Aight, this intro’s cool. Some chick singin’, then Polo G jumpin’ in with that smooth voice. I ain’t too crazy ‘bout the moanin’ he be doin’, but now he spittin’ and it's actually hittin'. My man’s levelin' up! This joint right here is dope, beat slaps, and the lyrics ain't too shabby either. Beats - 7/10   Lyrics - 8/10   15/20 No Recruits This one starts off real soft, almost too soft. I’m hopin’ he don’t get all singy on this one. Soun...

REVIEW - YG: Just Re'd Up 3

Yo, what's good, fam? It's your boy Denzel, the top dog in this hip-hop game, back in the spot once again. YG, one of Kendrick's homies, just dropped that fresh joint, "Just Re'd Up 3", like fifteen minutes ago. Been mad hype around this one, and I've been fiendin' to peep it. Let's see what's really good with it. 1. Go Brazy - Yo, that tough talk on the intro got me hyped, no cap. Ayy, I hear that Mustard beat! This dude’s voice always hits, no doubt. This joint is fire, even though the production’s a little shaky. Aight, the features just pulled up—some crew called Baby Stone Gorillas. Sounds like they just phoned it in, but I’m still vibin’ with it. Solid start. Beats - 7/10   Lyrics - 6/10   13/20 2. Right Now - We kickin' off with some piano and them racecar sounds. Dope. YG’s spitting now, talkin’ about some broad he’s gettin’ down with. The hook is on point, and DJ Mustard stepped up with the production. Everyone did the...
