Aight, aight, what’s good fam! It's ya boy Yxng Dxnzl back in the building, and y'all already know I’m ‘bout to break down this new Freddie Gibbs joint, “You Only Die 1nce.” Ya boy's been hearin' the buzz, feelin' the hype, so let’s see if this thing’s got the juice. Let’s get into it!
Next up, we got Gibbs pullin' some wild devil impersonation on a skit. Okay, that’s unique and crazy. Much props to Gibbs for that idea. Real strong openin’ vibe.

Cosmo Freestyle - Alright, this one startin’ a lil soft but then, boom—smooth as steel, sharp as a blade. Yikes, these flows son's got are goin’ crazy on parts, son’s killin' it.
More talk from the devil, tryin’ to lure Gibbs into a life of sex, drugs, rock n' roll. “Long as you keep sinnin’, I’mma keep winnin’,” Devil's speakin' facts on the joint.

Wolverine - Whoo! Freddie’s just cruisin' over these beats. That first verse endin’ hit too hard! This track's the bomb, Gibb's was straight up bringing bars on bars, lotta meaning here. Real talk, no holdin' back.

Brick Fees - Intro got my attention, and once he started spittin', it’s a wrap. All the tracks kinda vibin' together but just enough switch-ups to keep it fresh. Gibbs keepin' it creative, love it.

Rabbit Island - Ayo, this beat’s got me feelin' like I’m loungin’ on a beach or somethin’. But wait— AYO!!, Son's up in here throwin’ shade at J. Cole! Oh snap, this is a J. Cole diss! Straight called Cole out: “I ain’t ashamed like Jermaine.” Then hits with the hook, “I ain’t got no off season. Bitch!” Yooo, he’s draggin’ Cole! Vibe’s chill, but them lyrics hittin' at Cole are pretty dang savage. Son just walked up n' spit in Drake Lite's face wit' that verse n' that hook. Wonder why Freddie's wildin' out on Cole? This aight though, solid diss, I can dig it.

It’s Your Anniversary - This joint got a real fun energy. Gibbs spittin’ with style, crazy good storytelling, and that beat's summa that auditory perfection. Sample’s hittin’ so right—this is the one!

Nobody Like You (Interlude) - This got that Biggie “One More Chance” skit vibe. Ayo, the last voicemail on son's machine, you gotta hear it, on me! Trust me son, you gotta peep it yourself. It's brilliance.
Yeah Yeah - Feelin' a lil modern with that 2020s style trap beat, but Gibbs still killin’ it. Few bars didn’t land, but most of it was insane. Hook’s weak, but the flow? Fire. I ain't nothin' like a talented rapper or sumthin' like that, I'm just a blogger who can kinda freestyle a lil', but yo, this got me wantin' to spit some bars myself.

Steel Doors - Flow on here is smooth like butter. The switch-ups? Nice, nice. Ain’t nothin' I'll be rewindin' for, but it’s solid for sure.

Walk It Off - Beat’s tight, rhymes tight, hook tight. Ain’t much else to say—this one’s aight, but it's hittin’.

Ruthless - Ayo, this here's one of them breakup tracks. A bit too soft, I got some steam forming on my speakers here, word. Not my jam, but it ain’t trash.

Origami - This sample...I ain't knowin' what this smaple on the intro is, for real b. This kinda got that Japanese feel, feelin' exotic and slick. At least I'm thinkin' it's Japanese, ain't gotmuch Japanese knowledge outsida' movies n' manga. Rhyme scheme’s crazy again, Gibbs talkin’ real life and memories. Outro’s got a clip of someone givin' Gibbs props. Real nice touch, love this track.
Beats - 8/10

On The Set - Gibbs comin’ wit' summa that rap game reflection, shoutin’ out Diddy, Dolph, Quan. Vulnerable and real, good closer for the album.

That went down so dang smooth y'all. Let's add 'em up!

So, I’m feelin' this album heavy, maybe even a bit more than summa that stuff son did wit' Madlib a couple years back, n' that shit was MAD ILL, word. Gibbs was deep in his bag, ridin' them jazzy beats smooth as ever. “Ruthless” might be the weak spot, but in another rapper’s hands, that track would’ve been gold. And lemme say, it’s ‘bout time someone called out Young Eeyore (J. Cole) for pullin' that BS wit' actin' all sad ‘n serious when he’s out here startin’ n' perpetratin' that whole Kendrick n' Drake beef. Son's actin' like he's so humble, he'll only eat ramen, hell, he's so humble, Cole'll eat it when it ain't got no seasonin'. Son's looking like he's gonna eat dry ramen if that makes him look humble. But yo, Freddie's callin' out that mad weak front, so much respect to him. Son's stayin' mad relevant n' mad talented. This one’s another classic for the books.
